Have you tried these locally brewed “Kopitiam” flavours lip balm? Pretty creative huh! Our uniquely “Kopitiam” culture and handmade body products have collided in a fresh new local business!
Shophouse Sixtyfive, a fresh, humble locally handmade bath and body company of old school Singaporean culture had launched their new “Kopitiam” lip balm series. With flavours like Kopi-O and Rose Bundung, each lip balms are hand poured individually in small batches and there are many flavours for you to choose from.
Founded by Petrina Yuen ( founder, designer & handcrafter ), she’s a recent fine arts graduate from Lasalle majoring in fine arts and has always had a passion for scents and beauty products. Her arts background, allowed her to think creatively about the quirky old school charm of Shophouse Sixtyfive and its capability as an extraordinary new way of representing the Singapore spirit hence she started Shophouse Sixtyfive as an expression of her love for old school quirkiness, with quality body & home products.
And if you are thinking how does “Shophouse Sixyfive” relates to its brand name, it’s actually named after the old school shophouses in Singapore, and for its year of Independence, 1965 ( also our international calling code 65 ) where she took inspiration from the places, food and culture of Singapore, evoking a sense of nostalgia and childhood days gone by.
Having an appreciation and deep joy of all things unique and handmade, she wants to show the extra love and care put into each and every product, when a product tells a story, of a place and its people. Shophouse Sixtyfive, is a celebration of our distinct heritage with the twist of the handmade for an awesomely made in Singapore experience.
